Article 2 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1930 Edition), title "Anne Arundel County", sub-title
"Police Department", said new section to be known as
Section 406FA, to follow immediately after 406-F of said
Article, and to read as follows:
406-FA. (a) The Chief of Police, or a person authorized
by him, (1) may destroy any contraband articles or goods,
seized by or delivered to said Department, after removing
any money contained therein;
(2) Shall sell at public auction all lost, abandoned,
unclaimed, forfeited, or stolen property, remaining in the
possession of the Department for a period of six months
without a lawful claimant.
(b) The Chief of Police shall pay over to the County
Treasurer for the use of the County all money removed from
contraband, all proceeds of such sales and all lost, aban-
doned, unclaimed, forfeited, or stolen money remaining in
the possession of the Department for a period of six
months without a lawful claimant.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1939.

CHAPTER 331.
(Senate Bill 377)
AN ACT to add a new Article to the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1935 Supplement), said new Article to be
known as Article 65A to be under the title "Morgan
State College", and to follow immediately after Article
65 of said Code, creating a Commission on a State Col-
lege for Negroes, to consider the advisability of the
acquisition by the State of all or part of the property
of Morgan College on the Hillen Road in Baltimore City,
and if such acquisition be found desirable, to make an
agreement with the Board of Trustees of the College for
the transfer of said property to the Board of Public
Works and for its management by a temporary Board
of Trustees, to be appointed by said Board of Public
Works; and to confer upon and to grant to said State
