have, make and use a common seal, and the same to break,
alter and renew at pleasure.
5. The secretary shall give at least two weeks' notice
of all annual and special meetings by advertisement in
one or more newspapers published in Frederick County
and if for any reason any members' meetings shall not
be held at the appointed time, it shall be held at such early
subsequent date as may be fixed by the board of directors
after similar notice. If the board of directors deem it
advisable to amend the Charter, the notice required for the
same shall be at least two weeks' notice of said meeting
by advertisement in one or more of the newspapers pub-
lished in Frederick County.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act is
hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the
immediate preservation of the public health and safety,
and being passed upon a yea and nay vote, supported by
three-fifths of all of the members elected to each of the
two Houses of the General Assembly, the same shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section
85 of Article 39 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1935 Supplement), title "Fish and Fisheries", sub-title
"Deep Creek Lake", to repeal the requirement for
licenses for boats on Deep Creek Lake in Garrett County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 85 of Article 39 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1935 Supplement), title "Fish and
Fisheries", sub-title "Deep Creek Lake", be and the same
is hereby repealed and re-enacted with amendments to
read as follows:
85. Every motor boat used on Deep Creek Lake shall
conform to the Federal regulations as to lights, life pre-
servers and other equipment for motor boats. Each motor
boat so used on the waters of the Lake shall be under the
