County upon the same terms and conditions as elementary
public school pupils but without changing the regular
routes of such buses.
Such pupils of private or parochial schools shall be under
the same disciplinary jurisdiction as public school children
while riding on said buses.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act is
hereby declared to be an emergency law and necessary for
the immediate preservation of the public health and safety,
and being passed upon a yea and nay vote, supported by
three-fifths of all of the members elected to each of the two
Houses of the General Assembly, the same shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to add a new section to Article 22 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Washington County", sub-title "County Commis-
sioners", said new section to be known as Section 162-A
and to follow immediately after Section 162, providing a
Board of Assessment of three members, two of whom are
to be selected by the County Commissioners of Washing-
ton County and to provide for their qualifications, term
of office, duties and compensation, for the procedure of
the re-assessment of property, the notice of all changes
in assessments and to provide for the payment of salaries
and other expenses of assessment and re-assessment of
property.
