tion shall be printed and posted in the respective precincts
in the same manner and at the same time as the names of the
voters registering in the said precincts are printed and posted.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1939.

CHAPTER 718.
(House Bill 276)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 131 to 138 inclusive of Article 48
of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1924 Edition), title
"Inspections", sub-title "Boiler Rules", and to enact in lieu
thereof 13 new sections, to be known as Sections 131 to 143,
to be under sub-title "Boilers", relating to the operation,
maintenance, equipment and inspection of boilers, granting
certain authority to and imposing certain duties upon the
Commissioner of Labor and Statistics and Board of Boiler
Rules in relation thereto, and providing penalties for the
violation thereof.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land,
That Sections 131 to 138 inclusive of Article 48 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1924 Edition), title "Inspec-
tions", sub-title "Boiler Rules", be and they are hereby re-
pealed, and that 13 new sections, to be known as Sections 131
to 143, inclusive, to be under sub-title ''Boilers", be and they
are hereby enacted in lieu thereof, and to read as follows:

131. The Board of Boiler Rules shall consist of three mem-
bers, two of whom shall be appointed to the Board by the Gov-
ernor, one for a term of two years, and one for a term of three
years. At the expiration of their respective terms of office
their successors, identifiable with the same interests, respec-
tively as hereinafter provided, shall be appointed for terms of
four years each. Upon the death or incapacity of any mem-
ber the Governor shall fill the vacancy for the remainder of
the term likewise with a representative of the same interests
with which his predecessor was associated. Of these two
appointed members, one shall be representative of the owners
and users of boilers within the State, one a representative of
a boiler inspection and insurance company licensed to do busi-
ness within the State. The third member shall be the Com-
missioner of Labor and Statistics, who shall be the chairman
