of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition),
title "Montgomery County", sub-title "Crimes and Punish-
ments", said new section to be known as Section 272A, to fol-
low immediately after Section 272 of said Article, and to read
as follows:
272A. Whenever any physician, pharmacist, dentist, hospi-
tal or nurse treats any person in Montgomery County for any
injury which was caused by or shows evidence of having been
caused by an automobile accident or by a lethal weapon he or
she, or in the case of a hospital, the individual then in charge
thereof, shall, as soon as practicable, notify the Montgomery
County Police of such fact, giving such person's name and
address, if known, a description of the injury, and any other
facts concerning the affair which might assist in the detection
of crime. Any such person failing so to report shall be guilty
of a misdemeanor and punishable in any Court of competent
criminal jurisdiction by a fine not exceeding twenty-five dol-
lars (|25. 00).
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act is hereby
declared to be an emergency law and necessary for the imme-
diate preservation of the public health and safety, and being
passed by a yea and nay vote, supported by three-fifths of all
of the members elected to each of the two Houses of the Gen-
eral Assembly, the same shall take effect from the date of its
passage.

CHAPTER 704.
(House Bill 546)
AN ACT to add a new section to Article 16 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Mont-
gomery County", sub-title "County Commissioners", said
new section to be under sub-heading "Loans", to be known
as Section 235A and to follow immediately after Section 235
of said Article, providing that all bonds authorized after
the year 1939 to be issued upon the credit of Montgomery
County shall be submitted to the voters of said county for
approval or rejection before same may be issued.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section be and it is hereby added to Article
16 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edi-
