directing the Ranking Line Officer of the Maryland National
Guard to take out, pay for and maintain a policy or policies
of insurance under the Workmen's Compensation Law to
secure compensation to the officers and enlisted men of the
organized militia of the State of Maryland.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section be and it is hereby added to Article
65 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1935 Supplement),
title "Militia", said new section to be known as Section 15A
and to follow immediately after Section 15 of said Article and
to read as follows:
15A. The Ranking Line Officer is authorized and directed
to take out and thereafter maintain a policy or policies of
insurance with the State Accident Fund or with any stock
corporation or mutual association authorized to transact the
business of Workmen's Compensation insurance in this State,
to secure compensation under the Workmen's Compensation
Law to all officers and enlisted men of the organized militia
of the State of Maryland. The Ranking Line Officer is author-
ized and directed to pay the necessary premium or premiums
for said policy or policies of insurance out of appropriations
for the militia to be included in the State Budget by the
Governor of the State.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1939.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 273
of Article 22 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland,
(1930 Edition), title " Washington County", sub-title
"Hagerstown", changing the hours for primary and general
elections, registration and revision days of voters in
Hagerstown.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 273 of Article 22 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Washington
County", sub-title "Hagerstown", be and it is hereby repealed
and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
