of Takoma Park or Councilman of the said town, unless such
pamphlet, circular, card, dodger, poster, advertisement or other
form of publication herein described contains the name or
names of the person or persons, association, committee or
corporation responsible for the publication or distribution of
the same, and if an association, committee or corporation is
responsible for the publication or distribution of the same,
there shall be attached the names of the officers of such asso-
ciation, committee or corporation. Any person violating any
provision of this paragraph, or aiding and abetting the viola-
tion thereof, shall, upon conviction, be fined not less than One
Hundred Dollars ($100. 00), nor more than One Thousand
Dollars ($1, 000. 00), or be imprisoned for not more than one
year, or both fined and imprisoned. And this paragraph shall
be enforced by warrant or indictment before the Circuit Court
of the county in which the offense occurs, and the provisions
of Section 967 of Article 16 and the provisions of Section 960
of Article 17 shall not apply to the enforcement of this para-
graph.

956E. An intending voter shall present himself at the bar
of the voting booth or place of election to vote, and on being
admitted, if his name shall have been certified by the
Board of Election Supervisors under the provisions of
the next succeeding section, and not otherwise, the Clerk
of Election shall hand to said voter one of the official
ballots above described, with the said Clerk's initials written
on the back thereof, and without any other written sign or
mark thereon. The Council shall provide a convenient and
suitable place within said booth or voting place where the said
voter may fill out or mark said ballot privately by placing a
cross (X) mark opposite the name of the candidate for whom
he desires to vote, but in so doing said voter shall make or
place no other mark, writing or device than such as is author-
ized by this section. No voter shall occupy more than five
minutes in marking his ballot, at the end of which time at the
demand of the Clerk of Election, the voter shall immediately
surrender his said ballot to the Judge of Election designated
for that purpose. Before being surrendered to the Judge of
Election the said ballot shall be properly folded so as to show
the initials of the Clerk of Election, and if said initials shall
properly appear thereon, the said ballot shall be received and
placed in the ballot box. If on opening of any of said ballots
it shall appear that the voter has placed thereon any unauthor-
ized marks, writing or device, the ballot on which such un-
authorized marks appear shall not be counted by the Judges
of Election.
