CHAPTER 392.
AN ACT to add a new section to Article 2 of the Code of
Public Local Laws, of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Anne
Arundel County, " sub-title "Roads, " said new section to be
known as Section 420A and to follow immediately after
Section 420 of said Article, to give the County Commis-
sioners of said county authority to regulate parking on the
county roads.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland^ That a new section be and it is hereby added to
Article 2 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930
Edition), title "Anne Arundel County, " sub-title "Roads, "
said new section to be known as Section 420A, to follow im-
mediately after Section 420 of said Article, and to read as
follows:
420A. The County Commissioners of Anne Arundel Coun-
ty are hereby authorized and empowered to regulate and/or
prohibit parking on any public roads or streets wholly under
the jurisdiction of the said Commissioners, and in furtherance
of this authority to make all needful regulations and enforce
the same by penalties of five (5) to twenty-five (25) dollars,
and to place any markers on said roads which may be necessary
to give effect to said regulations; provided, however, that
nothing herein contained shall entitle said Commissioners to
pass any regulation which is in conflict with a State law.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1931.

CHAPTER 393.
AN ACT to add a new section to Article 2 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Anne
Arundel County, " sub-title "County Commissioners, " said
new section to be known as Section 241A and to follow im-
mediately after Section 241 of said Article authorizing the
County Commissioners of Anne Arundel County to contract
