the several justices of the peace of said county to try and
determine violations of the Criminal Law arising' in the First
Precinct of the First Election District, and in the Second,
Third, Sixth and Seventh. Election Districts of said county.
The police justice of the First Election District shall have
exclusive jurisdiction of and shall be required to try and
determine all violations of the criminal law arising in the
Second Precinct of the First Election District, but shall not
have jurisdiction to try and determine any violation of the
criminal law arising in any other part of said county.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 384.
AN ACT to authorize and empower the Board of County Com-
missioners of Montgomery County to borrow upon the faith
and credit of Montgomery County a sum not to exceed seventy
thousand dollars ($70, 000) and to issue and sell bonds there-
for and to expend the proceeds thereof for permanently financ-
ing the deficiency in the county police force funds and to
provide for the payment of the interest and principal of said
bonds by the levy of taxes.
WHEREAS, Under the provisions of Chapter No. 259 of the
Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, Session of 1922,
there was established in Montgomery County a county police
force then designated as additional constables for Montgomery
County at large; and
WHEREAS, All' fines, forfeitures and costs collected by the
police justice of Montgomery County or the Circuit Court for
Montgomery County for violation of the motor vehicle laws of
the State of Maryland in Montgomery County were allocated
to the payment of the cost of establishing and maintaining such
police force, including all salaries, expenses and equipment;
and
WHEREAS, Under the provisions of said Act the Board of
County Commissioners was authorized to levy against the tax-
able property of the county in an amount sufficient to provide
