lication. Upon it appearing to the satisfaction of the court
that said order of publication has been duly published and that
the time fixed by law for the defendants to appear and answer
has expired, the court shall proceed to hear and determine all
questions raised as to said tax and/or assessment sale or sales
and shall enter such decree or. decrees as the nature of the case
may require. A substantial compliance with the provisions of
this Act by the said treasurer in making such tax and/or as-
sessment sale or sales and reporting the same to the court shall
be deemed to be a sufficient compliance therewith.

184D. An appeal from a final decree of said court may be
taken by any party having an interest in any piece of real es-
tate described in said report to the Court of Appeals of Mary-
land, but such appeal shall apply only to the real estate of the
parties appealing, the decree or decrees rendered in said cause
otherwise to; remain in full force and effect. Said appeals
shall be taken and perfected as now required by law.

184E. Whenever the court shall set aside any sale for taxes
and/or assessment so reported, the taxes and assessments, in-
terest and penalties accrued against each separate piece of real
estate in reference to which said sale, has been set aside, shall
remain a lien upon said real estate and, unless paid, shall be
advertised for sale by the treasurer at the next annual tax
and/or assessment sale.

184F. Within thirty days after such tax and/or assessment
sale, the said treasurer shall deliver to the purchaser or pur-
chasers (except the Town Commissioners of La Plata) of any
real estate sold by him at such tax sale, a certificate which shall
set forth the name or names of the owner or owners of the
real estate sold; a description of said real estate, the name of
the purchaser or purchasers, the amount of the purchase price,
and that said real estate may be redeemed within two years
from the date of sale upon the payment to the treasurer of
the amount of said sale, together with interest at the rate of
twelve (12) per centum per annum on said purchase price.

184G. The treasurer of the Town of La Plata is hereby
authorized and directed to execute and deliver to the purchaser
or purchasers (except the Town Commissioners of La Plata)
of any real estate so sold for taxes and/or assessments, and not
set aside by the court, a deed to the real estate so sold and not
