Provided further, that none of the provisions in this Act
shall apply to the waters of the Choptank River proper.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That all laws or parts
of laws of the State of Maryland, general or local, inconsistent
with the provisions of this Act be and the same are hereby
repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.

CHAPTER 362.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 165
of Article 1 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1930 Edition), title "Allegany County, " sub-title "Election
Districts, " sub-heading "Advertisements, " and to add a new
section to said Article, to be known as Section 165A and. to
follow immediately after Section 165 of said Article, pro-
viding for a different method of publishing the names of
persons registered and erased in any general registration in
Allegany County and repealing all Acts or parts of Acts
inconsistent therewith.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 165 of Article 1 of the Code of Pub-
lic Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Allegany
County, " sub-title "Election Districts, " sub-heading "Adver-
tisements, " be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, and a new section be and it is hereby added to
said Article, said new section to be known as Section 165A,
to follow immediately after Section 165 of said Article and.
all to read as follows:

165. The said Supervisors of Election of Washington,
Allegany and Frederick Counties, shall not be required to give
notice of. persons registered or erased in each precinct of said
Counties by posting handbills, but notice shall be given only
by publishing the names and addresses of such persons in two*
newspapers (one of which newspapers, if possible, shall be
of the opposite political faith from that of a majority of said
Supervisors) within three days after the return of the list
of voters registered and erased by the registrars; provided,.
