that in any general registration in Allegany County no notice
shall be given by publishing such names in any newspaper.
165A. The Supervisors of Elections for Allegany County
shall not be required to- give notice of persons registered or
erased in any general registration in Allegany County by either
hand bills, posting handbills, or advertisement in newspapers;
but said Supervisors of Elections for Allegany County shall
be required to furnish a printed list of the names and ad-
dresses of persons registered and erased when application is
made therefor in writing at least ten days before said general
registration, and then only upon the payment by the party or
person or persons requesting such list of the sum of twenty-
five dollars ($25. 00), provided, however, that all printing re-
quired by the Supervisors of Elections under this section shall
be first approved by the County Commissioners of Allegany
County and shall be divided as equally as possible between two
newspapers published in Allegany County, one of which news-
papers, if possible, shall be of opposite political faith from,
that of the majority of said Supervisors.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That all Acts or parts
of Acts inconsistent with the provisions of this Act be and they
are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted. That this Act shall take-
effect June 1, 1931.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
