CHAPTER 267.

AN ACT to authorize and direct the County Commissioners of
Kent County and the County Commissioners of Queen
Anne's County to transfer and surrender to the State Roads
Commission the bridge crossing Chester River at Crumpton,
the same lying partly in Kent County and partly in Queen
Anne's County, and to empower and direct the said State
Roads Commission to receive and accept the said bridge and
to thereafter maintain the same as a part of the State Roads
System.

CHAPTER 268.

AN ACT to authorize the Burgess and Commissioners of Mid-
dletown to issue bonds to an amount not to exceed ten thou-
sand dollars ($10, 000. 00) to refund ten thousand dollars
($10, 000. 00) of bonds issued for the construction of a sys-
tem for supplying water for said town.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the Burgess and Commissioners of Middle-
town, be and it is hereby authorized and empowered to issue
bonds on said corporation not to exceed ten thousand dollars
($10, 000. 00), as may be necessary to refund ten thousand dol-
lars ($10, 000. 00) of the bonds issued for the construction of
a water system for supplying water to Middletown as author-
ized by the Acts of 1902, Chapter 73, said bonds to be dated
on the first day of April, 1933, and to be numbered from one
(1) to twenty (20), both inclusive, and shall be in denomina-
tions of five hundred dollars ($500. 00) each; and shall bear
interest at a rate not to exceed five per centum (5%) per an-
num, payable semi-annually, and said bonds shall become due
and payable thirty years from the date of issue.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That the said Burgess
and Commissioners of Middletown shall have full power and
authority to sell said bonds, and they shall use the proceeds
derived from said sale for the redemption and payment of
present outstanding bonds of said corporation, issued under
the authority given in the Acts of the General Assembly of
