SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect on June 1, 1931-..

CHAPTER 210.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections
82 and 84 of Article 12 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Garrett County, " sub-
title "County Commissioners, " to change the time of meet-
ing of said Commissioners and to increase their compensa-
tion.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Sections 82 and 84 of Article 12 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
aGarrett County, " sub-title "County Commissioners, " be and
the same are hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments,
so as to read as follows:
82. The County Commissioners of Garrett County shall
meet in regular session on the first and third Mondays of each
and every month, and remain in session so long as may be
necessary to properly transact the business of the county.
84. The County Commissioners of Garrett County, now in
office and those hereafter elected to said office, shall receive for
their services as such Commissioners, an annual salary of one
thousand ($1, 000. 00) dollars each, payable in monthly install-
ments. Each of the said Commissioners shall also receive the'
sum of ten cents per mile for each mile traveled to and from
their regular meetings; and when it is necessary for said Com-
missioners to leave the county for the proper transaction of the
business of the county, they shall be entitled to receive as a
body, their actual traveling expenses. The above salary and
transportation allowances shall be in lieu of all other compen-
sation and expenses.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That all Acts or parts
of Acts inconsistent with this Act are hereby repealed.
