pealing shall not prosecute his appeal with effect at the next
term of the Circuit Court for said County, and also pay and
satisfy said fines and costs, and the costs in said Circuit Court
in case the judgment shall be affirmed, then the said bond to
be and remain in full force and virtue, otherwise to be of no
effect.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That all fines and penal-
ties imposed and collected under this Act shall be paid to the
Board of School Commissioners of said County for the use
of the public schools of said County.

SEC. 4. And be it further enacted. That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1931.

CHAPTER 209.

AN ACT to add one new section to Article 1A of the Code
of Public Local Laws of 1930, title "Allegany County, " sub-title "Cumberland, " and one new section to Chapter 96
of the Acts of 1922 of the General Assembly of Maryland
providing for the exemption from assessment and taxation
for municipal purposes of farm buildings, farm land, unde-
veloped waste and woodland located within the limits of
the City of Cumberland, Maryland, said section to be desig-
nated as Section 6 5 A.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That one new section be added to Article 1A of
the Code of Public Local Laws of 1930 and to Chapter 96 of
the Acts of 1922 of the General Assembly of Maryland, title
"Allegany County, " sub-title "Cumberland, " said section to
be designated as 65A and to read as follows:

6 5A. The Mayor and Council of Cumberland shall ex-
empt from City taxes tracts of land containing not less than five
acres in area located within the City limits and the farm
buildings thereon used exclusively for agricultural purposes
and/or undeveloped waste and woodland, not divided into lots,
divisions or subdivisions.
