hold an election for the Mayor and Common Council and other
elective officers as hereinbefore provided for. The Mayor and
Councilmen elected shall serve until the first Monday in June,,
1932, and until their successors shall have qualified, and there-
after their successors shall be elected for the term of one year.

SEC. 15. And be it further enacted, That for the purpose of
election to determine whether or not the corporate powers
hereinbefore mentioned shall be granted to the citizens of Seat
Pleasant, all citizens who shall have attained the age of twenty-
one years, and who shall have for one year next preceding such
election resided within the corporate limits hereinbefore set
forth in Section 2 hereof shall be qualified to vote, and the
committee above named shall have power to appoint two of
its members for the purpose of registration of said voters and
who shall have for this purpose all the powers of registration
officers for any election in Prince George's County.

CHAPTER 198.

AN ACT to repeal Section 15 of Chapter 200 of the Acts of
Assembly of Maryland of 1916, and Section 15A of Chapter
29 of the Acts of Assembly of Maryland of 1918, and to
re-enact the same with amendments in one section to be
known as Section 15. Said re-enacted section being a part
of the Charter and enumerating certain powers and au-
thority of the Mayor and Common Council of Mount
Rainier, Maryland.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 15 of Chapter 200 of the Acts of
Assembly of Maryland of 1916, and Section 15A of Chapter
29 of the Acts of Assembly of Maryland of 1918, be and the
same are hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments,
in one section to be known as Section 15, and to read as
follows:

15. That the Councilmen. elected hereunder shall qualify
upon the next Monday night succeeding their election by
taking the same oath as that required of the Mayor, before
