of said City of Crisfield are hereby pledged to the payment
and redemption of the principal and interest on said bonds,
which bonds shall be exempt from State, county and municipal
taxation, and said bonds may be registered by the Clerk of
the corporation and shall have printed on them 9, distinct
reference to this Act authorizing the same.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That the proceeds from
the sale of the bonds aforesaid shall be used by the said Mayor
and Council of Crisfield for the construction of a new draw
bridge in place of the bridge now connecting Tenth Street with
that part of Crisfield known as "Jersey" and for no other
purpose.

SEC. 3. And, be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1931.

CHAPTER 188.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections
405 and 407 of Article 7 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Carroll County, " sub-
title "Taneytown, " and to add two new sections to said
Article 7, to follow immediately after Section 405 and to
be known as Section 405A and Section 405B, changing the
corporate name of the town of Taneytown, and relating to
elections and qualifications of voters.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Sections 405 and 407 of Article 7 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Carroll County, " sub-title "Taneytown, " be and the same are
hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, and that
two new sections be and they are hereby added to Article 7, to
follow immediately after said Section 405 and to be known as
Sections 405A and 405B, and all to read as follows:

405. The citizens of the Town of Taneytown, in Carroll
County, are hereby constituted a body corporate by the name
of "The Mayor and City Council of Taneytown, 77 and by that
