land, title "Montgomery County, " sub-title "County Commis-
sioners, " be and the said section is hereby repealed and re-
enacted to read as follows:
195. The County Commissioners of Montgomery County
shall each receive for his services, the sum of $1, 800. 00 per
annum, payable monthly in equal installments.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1931.

CHAPTER 169.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
323 of Article 27 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1924
Edition), title "Crimes and Punishments, " sub-title "Lar-
ceny—Dogs" to make anyone convicted of feloniously tak-
ing and carrying away a cat guilty of the crime of larceny.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 323 of Article 27 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1924 Edition), title "Crimes and Punish-
ments, " sub-title "Larceny—Dogs, " be and the same is hereby
repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
323. Every person convicted of feloniously taking and
carrying away any dog, bitch, or cat, or as accessory thereto
before or after the fact shall be deemed guilty of the crime of
larceny, and shall restore the dog, bitch, or cat, to the owner
thereof, or shall pay to him the value thereof, and shall be
sentenced to confinement in jail for not more than three months.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted. That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1931.

AN ACT to add six new sections to Article 8 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Cecil
County, " sub-title "Justices of the Peace and Constables, "
sub-heading "Police Justice, " said new sections to be known
