ance with the provisions of Sections 216K to 216-O, both in-
clusive, of Chapter 262 of the Acts of 1904, of the General
Assembly of Maryland, and to authorize the Board of Edu-
cation of Allegany County to make application for the clos-
ing of said streets and alleys and to defray the proper ex-
penses of the proceedings for closing said streets and alleys,
including the damages awarded any property owners found
in said proceedings to be affected by said closing of said
streets and alleys.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the Road Directors of Allegany County shall
upon the petition of the Board of Education of Allegany
County as hereinafter provided for, have the power to close any
or all the streets and alleys in that part of Section B of Cellu-
lose City Addition, near Cresaptown, in Allegany County,
Maryland, which is bounded on the north by Sixth Avenue,
on the south by Eighth Avenue, on the east by Lots Nos. 202,
219, 235 and 250 in said Section B, and on the west side by
Jeannette Street, and shall also have the power to close said
Jeannette Street between Sixth Avenue and Eighth Avenue,
as said streets and alleys are shown on the plat of said Cellu-
lose City Addition, filed and recorded among the Land Records
of Allegany County in Plat Case No. 9, and particularly said
Road Directors of Allegany County shall have the power to
close in the aforesaid Section B of the Cellulose City Addition,
Jeannette Street between Sixth Avenue and Eighth Avenue,
Seventh Avenue from its intersection with Jeannette Street to
its eastern terminus in said Section B, Main Street between
Sixth Avenue and Eighth Avenue, six ten-foot alleys extend-
ing between Sixth Avenue and Seventh Avenue, and six ten-
foot alleys extending between Seventh Avenue and Eighth
Avenue, or any of them or any parts of said streets and alleys
in said Section B of said Cellulose City Addition.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That in closing any of
the streets and alleys set out in Section 1 of this Act, the Road
Directors of Allegany County shall be governed by and shall
follow the provisions of Section 216K to 216-O, both inclusive,
of Chapter 262 of the Acts of 1904 of the General Assembly
of Maryland, providing for the opening, closing or altering of
roads in Allegany County so far as said sections of said Chap-
ter 262 shall be applicable.
