or box, his or her decision for or against the waterworks of
Chestertown being controlled and operated by the Mayor and
Council of Chestertown.
The Supervisors of Election of Chestertown to be appointed
by the Commissioners of Chestertown on and after June 1,
1931, shall hold, conduct and give such notice of the election
herein provided for, and the result thereof, in the same place
and in the same manner as will be then requisite for an election
of a Mayor and four Councilmen of Chestertown, provided
that, if for any reason said notice shall not be given, nor not
given in the manner prescribed, such failure shall not invali-
date this Act or prevent its taking effect. If the majority of
votes cast at said election shall be "For the waterworks of
Chestertown being controlled and operated by the Mayor and
Council of Chestertown, " then the provisions of this Act shall
immediately take effect, but if the majority of votes cast shall
be "Against the waterworks of Chestertown being controlled
and operated by the Mayor and Council of Chestertown, " then
this Act shall be of no effect.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect on June 1, 1931.

CHAPTER 104.
AN ACT to create the Annapolis Metropolitan Sewerage Dis-
trict in Anne Arundel County, Maryland; to incorporate
the same, and to provide for the government thereof; to pro-
vide for the design, construction, maintenance and operation
of main sewerage and drainage systems and sewage treat-
ment works; to provide for the issuance and amortization of
bonds for the purpose of such construction, said bonds to be
upon the faith and credit of Anne Arundel County and the
City of Annapolis in respective proportions; the levy of
taxes for the payment of said bonds and for the operation,
maintenance, regulation and control of said systems; to pro-
vide for making contractual agreements with the United
States Government; and to provide for further execution of
the duties of the Commission.
