SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 150, of Article 25, of the Annotated
Code of Public General Laws of Maryland (Bagby's Edition,
1924), title "County Commissioners, " sub-title "Public
Roads, " be and the same; is hereby repealed and re-enacted,
with amendments, so as to read as follows:
150. No public road shall be opened or altered so as to pass
through the buildings, gardens, yards or burial grounds, of
any person without the consent of the owner thereof in writing,
this section not to apply to Allegany County, Baltimore Coun-
ty, Montgomery County, Washington County or Wicomico
County.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1931.

CHAPTER 99.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 260
of Article 14 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland
of 1930, entitled "Howard County, " sub-title "Roads, " pro-
viding for reducing the amount levied for roads and, bridges
by the County Commissioners and to provide for the payment
of part of the fund from one district to the Commissioners of
Ellicott City, and to repeal Section 166 of said Article 14 of
said code.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 260 of Article 14 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland of 1930, entitled "Howard County, " sub-title
"Roads, " be and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted
so as to read as follows:
260. The County Commissioners of Howard County shall at
the time of making their annual levy, levy upon the taxable
property of each of said districts of said county a sum not
less than six thousand dollars ($6, 000), and the sum so levied
to be used in the district from which it is levied for the
