tion shall be "Against........Bonds, " the said bonds shall not
be issued, but the Mayor and Council or the Commissioners or
other governing body, however, shall have the power to submit
the question at succeeding regular and/or special municipal
elections in the manner herein provided until a majority of the
votes cast on said question shall be "For........Bonds, " at
which time they shall exercise the power to issue the bonds au-
thorized by said Sections 348A-348R.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act is hereby
declared to be an emergency law and necessary for the im-
mediate preservation of the public health and safety, and having
been passed by a yea and nay vote, supported by three-fifths of
all the members elected to each of the two houses of the General
Assembly, the same shall take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 97.
AN ACT to change the name of "The St. Joseph's Society of
the Sacred Heart, Inc., " to that of "St. Joseph's Society of
the Sacred Heart. "
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the name of "The St. Joseph's Society of the
Sacred Heart, Inc., " as incorporated by certificate of incor-
poration of record in the Chattel Records of Baltimore City in
Liber S. C. L. No1. 123, folio 189, be and the same is hereby
changed to that of "St. Joseph's Society of the Sacred Heart. "
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That said corporation.
by its new name, shall hold all property, enjoy all rights and
possess all powers and functions which were possessed by or
conferred upon it under its former name.

CHAPTER 98.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
150 of Article 25 of the Annotated Code of Public General
Laws of Maryland (Bagby's Edition, 1924), title "County
Commissioners, " sub-title "Public Roads, " so as to include
Montgomery County among the counties excepted from
said section.
