CHAPTER 95.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Sections 318
and 319 of Article 27 of the Annotated Code of the Public
General Laws of Maryland, 1924 Edition, title "Crimes and
Punishments, '' sub-title "Larceny, " denning the penalty for
larceny in certain cases and providing that, the theft of cer-
tain property under the value of twenty-five dollars shall be
considered a misdemeanor and providing the penalty therefor.

CHAPTER 96.
AN ACT, to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 348P
of Article 43 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1929
Edition), title "Health, " sub-title "Water, Ice and Sewer-
age" so as to provide that the question as to whether or not
bonds shall be issued by a municipality, as provided for in
said Article, shall be submitted for the determination of the
voters at either a regular municipal election or a special
election called for that purpose and to provide for a refer-
endum in connection with the issuance of said bonds.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 348P of Article 43 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1929 Edition), title "Health, " sub-title "Water,
Ice and Sewerage" be and the same is hereby repealed and re-
enacted with amendments to read as follows:
Section 348P, That the Mayor and Council or the Commis-
sioners or other governing body of any municipality before
issuing bonds for any of said improvements, shall first at a
regular municipal election, or at a special municipal election
called for that purpose after at least twenty days' notice by hand
bills or otherwise to the voters of said municipality, submit to
the voters of the municipality proposing the improvements the
question whether or not the said bonds shall be issued, and upon
the ballots to be used at said municipal election there shall be
printed or written the words "For_____Bonds, " and "Against
......Bonds, " and if a majority of the votes cast upon said
question shall be "For..........Bonds, " then the Mayor and
Council or the Commissioners or other governing body of the
municipality shall issue the bonds authorized by Sections
348A-348R; but if a majority of the votes cast upon said ques-
