mission of the said question to a vote under the provisions of
this section, another or other elections submitting said ques-
tion shall not be called or held within six months from the
last election on said question.

SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That this Act is hereby declared
to be an emergency law and necessary for the immediate preser-
vation of public safety and health, and being passed upon a
yea and nay vote, supported by three-fifths of the members
elected to each of the two Houses of the General Assembly, the
same shall take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 76.

AN ACT to add a new section to Article 4 of the Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1927 Edition), title "Baltimore City, "
sub-title "Special Fund, " the said new section to be known
as Section 776C-1, and to follow immediately after Section
776C of the said Article, to provide for the disposition of
unclaimed motor vehicles, or parts thereof, in the custody
of the Police Department of Baltimore City.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That a new section be, and it is hereby added to
Article 4 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1927
Edition), title "Baltimore City, " sub-title "Special Fund, "
said new section to be known as Section 776C-1, and to follow
immediately after Section 776C of said Article, and to read as
follows:

776C-1. Whenever the owner, or person, firm or corpora-
tion, entitled to the possession of any motor vehicle, or part
thereof, in the custody of the Police Department of Baltimore
City, cannot be located and fails to claim said motor vehicle,,
or part thereof, for a period of three months after said motor
vehicle, or part thereof, came into the custody of the said
Police Department of Baltimore City, the same may be dis~
posed of by the Police Commissioner at public sale at some
place which shall be convenient and accessible to the public,
