CHAPTER 441.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 5 of
Article 17 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1924 Edition),
title "Clerks of Courts, " sub-title "General Duties of
Clerks, " providing that it shall be unnecessary for the Clerks
of Courts to attend office on legal holidays.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 5 of Article 17 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1924 Edition), title "Clerks of Courts, " sub-title
"General Duties of Clerks, " be and it is hereby repealed and
re-enacted with amendments to read as follows:
5. Every clerk shall attend at his office for the transaction of
the business thereof every day, except Sundays and legal holi-
days, either in person or by deputy, unless prevented by sick-
ness, accident or necessity.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted. That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1931.

CHAPTER 442.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 25
of Article 39 of the Annotated Code of Public General Laws
of Maryland (Edition 1929 Supplement), entitled "Fish
and Fisheries, " sub-title "Tidal Waters, " pertaining to the
method of fishing in tidal waters; to repeal and re-enact
Section 29 of Article 39 of the Annotated Code of Public
General Laws of Maryland (Edition 1929 Supplement), en-
titled "Fish and Fisheries, " sub-title "Tidal Waters—Fur-
ther Regulations in County Waters, " prohibiting the use of
nets or seines in certain waters of Sue's Creek; to repeal
and re-enact, with amendments, Section 71 of Article 39 of
the Annotated Code of Public General Laws of Maryland
(Edition 1929 Supplement), entitled "Fish and Fisheries, "
sub-title "Non-Tidal Waters, " providing seasons, manner
and means of fishing in non-tidal waters; to repeal and re-
enact, with amendments, Section 76 of Article 39 of the
Annotated Code of Public General Laws of Maryland (Edi-
tion 1929 Supplement), entitled "Fish and Fisheries, " sub-
