CHAPTER 411.

AN ACT to authorize and empower the Board of County
Commissioners of Montgomery County to sell and convey
upon such terms as it may deem proper that certain lot or
parcel of land in the town of Rockville acquired for the
purpose of constructing a jail building thereon and that
certain lot or parcel of land in Silver Spring upon which
the office of the County Commissioners of the Fifth Com-
missioner District and the police station is now constructed
in Silver Spring.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the Board of County Commissioners of Mont-
gomery County be and it is hereby authorized and empowered
to sell and convey by good and sufficient deed those certain lots
or parcels of land hereinafter described as follows:

1.     All that lot or parcel of land which was acquired by the
Board of County Commissioners for Montgomery County from
the Silver Spring Building Supply Company, Incorporated,
by deed dated May 3, 1927, and recorded in Liber 424, folio
171, and being Lot Number One (1) in Block Lettered "C"
in a subdivision of land in said Montgomery County known as
and called "Silver Spring Building Supply's Subdivision of
Silver Spring, " as per plat of said subdivision recorded in
Plat Book ~No. 3, Plat ATo. 243, of the Land Records of Mont-
gomery County, Maryland, together with the building and
improvements thereon, the same being the land and building
in Silver Spring occupied by the Board of County Commis-
sioners suburban office and the Silver Spring substation of the
Montgomery County Police.

2.    All those three certain parcels of land which were ac-
quired by the Board of County Commissioners of Montgomery
County, by deeds hereinafter described for the purpose of
erecting thereon a jail building for Montgomery County, the
said parcels of land being described as follows:

(a) All that tract, piece or parcel of land situate, lying and
being in Montgomery County, State of Maryland, described as
follows: Beginning for the same at a point at the northwest
corner of Lot 90? it being at the intersection of the southern
line of Middle Lane with the southern line of Madison Street,
as laid down on a plat of record in Liber Y, at folio 523, it
