CHAPTER 466.
AN ACT to provide for the making of certain reports by
pawn-brokers in Hagerstown to the Chief of Police of
Hagerstown, and penalties for violations of said pro-
visions.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That every pawn-broker doing business as a
pawn-broker within the corporate limits of Hagerstown
shall deliver to the Chief of Police of Hagerstown a daily
written report of all articles received by such pawn-broker
on pawn or pledge, the said report to give as detailed and
distinguishing a description as possible of each such
article, and of each part thereof when the parts differ in
description, including the name, kind, character, condition,
size, weight, color, shape, design, setting, mounting, deco-
ration, and material, whether lady's, gentleman's or child's,
dealer's and maker's names, marks; and numbers, and any
other names, marks, numbers, initials, letters, and inscrip-
tions. Any person, firm, or corporation violating any of
the provisions of this section shall be deemed guilty of a
misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be subject to a fine
of from one to ten dollars for the first offense, and from
ten to fifty dollars for the second or any subsequent of-
fense.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1935.

CHAPTER 467.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
15 of Article 47 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1924
Edition), title "Insolvents, " providing for the payment,
as preferred claims, of salaries, wages and commissions
earned by employees and salesmen, contracted not more
than three months before insolvency.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 15 of Article 47 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1924 Edition), title "Insolvents, " be and
