judgment think public necessity requires his presence as
the representative of the State of Maryland to participate
in criminal prosecutions or hearing before said Police Jus-
tice, and the County Commissioners are hereby authorized,
empowered and directed to pay said State's Attorney for the
services rendered by virtue of his appearai\ce and attend-
ance as aforesaid, the sum of nine hundred and fifty dollars
($950. 00) per annum, for his compensation and expenses in-
cident thereto, in addition to the salary now allowed him
by law.
943. The State's Attorney of Prince George's County,
Maryland shall receive a salary of one thousand four hun-
dred and twenty-five dollars ($1, 425. 00) to be annually
levied and paid by the County Commissioners of said
County.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1935,

CHAPTER 460.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Sections
316, 317, and 318 of Article 17 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Prince George's
County, " sub-title "County Commissioners, " as amended
by Chapter 413 of the Acts of the General Assembly of
Maryland, 1933, increasing the compensation of the
Clerk to the County Commissioners, the Deputy Clerk,
the Road Clerk, and the Transfer Clerk and Auditor.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Sections 316, 317, and 318 of Article 17 of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edi-
tion), title "Prince George's County, " sub-title "County
Commissioners, " as amended by Chapter 413 of the Acts of
the General Assembly of Maryland 1933, be and they are
hereby repealed and re-enacted with amendments, to read
as follows:
316. The Clerk to the County Commissioners of said
County shall be entitled to an annual salary of twenty-three
