by repealed and re-enacted with amendments, to read as
follows:
308. The five County Commissioners for Prince
George's County shall receive as full compensation for their
services, the sum of two hundred and eighty-five dollars
($285. 00) per annum payable monthly and shall not receive
any extra compensation of any kind whatsoever and they
shall meet at their office in Upper Marlboro twice in each
month or oftener if in their judgment the public interest
shall require.
309. In case of vacancy in said Board of County Com-
missioners from any cause whatever the Governor shall
appoint a suitable person to serve until the next general
election for State and County officers.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1935.

CHAPTER 456.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Chapter
230 of the Acts of 1931, entitled "An Act authorizing
and empowering the judges of the Circuit Court for
Prince George's County to appoint a stenographer for
the Grand Jury of Prince George's County, who, when
not so engaged, shall be the official stenographer for the
State's Attorney for Prince George's County, and who
may be likewise subject to call by the Circuit Court for
said county for court service at such times as not in ac-
tive service of the Grand Jury or the State's Attorney;
and providing for the compensation of said stenogra-
pher, " as amended by Chapter 143 of the Acts of the
General Assembly of Maryland 1933, increasing the com-
pensation of the stenographer for the Grand Jury and
State's Attorney.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Chapter'230 of the Acts of 1931, entitled
"An Act authorizing and empowering the judges of the
Circuit Court for Prince George's County, to appoint a ste-
nographer for the Grand Jury of Prince George's County,
who, when not so engaged, shall be the official stenogra-
