two Houses of the General Assembly, the same shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 416.
AN ACT to add a new sub-title and six new sections to
Article 88A of the Code of Public General Laws of Mary-
land, 1924 Edition, title "State Aid and Charities, " said
new sub-title to be designated "Maryland Rehabilitation
Corporation, " and said new sections to be known as Sec-
tions 9A, 9B, 9C, 9D, 9E and 9F, to follow immediately
after Section 9 of said Article, creating a corporation to
be known as "Maryland Rehabilitation Corporation, "
and designating the same as the representative and
agency of the State for receiving from the government
of the United States or any agency thereof, or from or
through this State, or any agency or agent thereof,
grants of money or other financial aid for the purpose
of rehabilitating individuals and families as self sustain-
ing human beings by enabling them to secure subsis-
tence in gainful employment, providing for the member-
ship and management of said corporation, and enumerat-
ing its powers and duties.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That a new sub-title and six new sections be and
they are hereby added to Article 88A of the Code of Public
General Laws of Maryland, title "State Aid and Charities, "
said new sub-title to be designated "Maryland Rehabilita-
tion Corporation, " and said new sections to be known as
Sections 9A, 9B, 9C, 9D, 9E and 9F, to follow immediately
after Section 9 of said Article, and to read as follows:
9A. There is hereby created a corporation to be known
as "Maryland Rehabilitation Corporation, " whose incorpo-
rators shall constitute the original Board of Directors, and
shall consist of the following State and Federal officials, by
virtue of their respective offices or positions: The State
Emergency Relief Administrator, the Regional Field Rep-
resentative of the Federal Emergency Relief Administra-
tion, the Regional Director of the Land Policy Section of
the Agricultural Adjustment Administration, the Director
of the Agricultural Extension Service of the State of Mary-
