Treasurer, do and perform any act or acts which can be
legally performed by the Treasurer. The Board of County
Commissioners shall furnish daily to the Treasurer infor-
mation showing all transfers of property, changes of as-
sessment, and all other information or changes thereof
occurring on the assessment books in the office of the
Board of County Commissioners and it shall be the duty of
the Treasurer to record such transfers, changes of as-
sessment and other information so received by him in the
collection books kept by him, from which information he
may be able to compute and enter the total amount of tax
chargeable against each lot or parcel of taxable property.
It shall be the duty of the Board of County Commissioners
and the Treasurer to keep their respective books as a rec-
ord complete and in entire accord with the exception of
the amount to be collected by way of taxes upon any lot
or parcel of taxable property, which item shall appear on
the Treasurer's books only.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act is
hereby declared to be an emergency law and necessary for
the immediate preservation of the public health and safety,
and having been passed upon by a yea and nay vote, sup-
ported by three-fifths of all of the members elected to each
of the two Houses of the General Assembly, the same shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 5.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section
9 of the Charter of the Mutual Fire Insurance Company
in Harford County, as said Section was amended by
Chapter 333 of the Acts of the General Assembly of
Maryland of 1904: and to repeal and re-enact with
amendments Section 10 of the Charter as said Section
was amended by Chapter 421 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of Maryland of 1927, providing for the election
of the President and Directors of said Company, and
providing for one annual meeting instead of two, as at
present required.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 9 of the Charter of the Mutual Fire
