judges shall ascertain by reference if his name is on the
registry of voters.

In every election, whether such election be the regular
election or any special election, the polls shall be opened
at 7 A. M. and closed at 5 P. M. In all elections to
ascertain the sense of the qualified voters of the town as
to the passage of any ordinance or ordinances the election
shall be held by wards and all the polls shall be opened at
7 A. M. and closed at 5 P. M. on the day appointed for such
election.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1935.

CHAPTER 399.

AN ACT to add a new section to Article 33 of the Anno-
tated Code of Maryland (1924 Edition), title "Elections, "
sub-title "Registration, " said new section to be known as
Section 28G and to follow immediately after Section 28F
of said Article, providing for a new general registration
of all qualified voters in Frederick County in the year
1936 to supersede all the registers of voters of said coun-
ty now in existence.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That a new section be and it is hereby added to
Article 33 of the Code of Public General Laws of Maryland,
title "Elections, " sub-title "Registration, " said new section
to be known as Section 28G, and to follow immediately after
Section 28F of said Article, and to read as follows:

28G. In Frederick County a new general registration of
all the qualified voters of said county shall be made by the
board of registry of said county in the year 1936. Such new
general registration shall be made in the same way and
under the same rules and provisions in all respects as are
in said Article 33 of the Code of Public General Laws, title
"Elections, " sub-title "Registration, " made for the first gen-
eral registration, so far as the same may be applicable, and
except as herein modified. Each Board of Registration
shall sit for said new registration at the place designated
by the Board of Supervisors of Elections of said county on
