the immediate preservation of the public health and safety,
and having been passed upon by a yea and nay vote, sup-
ported by three-fifths of all of the members elected to each
of the two Houses of the General Assembly, the same shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

27 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1924 Edition),
title "Crimes and Punishments, " sub-title "Fraud —
Itinerant Vendors. "

CHAPTER 384.
AN ACT to repeal Sections 197 to 210, inclusive, of Article
18 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930
Edition), title "Queen Anne's County, " sub-title "County
Treasurer, " and enact in lieu thereof thirteen new sec-
tions to be known as Sections 197 to 209, inclusive, of
said Article, relating to the duties of the County Treas-
urer of Queen Anne's County and the collection of taxes.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Sections 197 to 210, inclusive, of Article 18
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edi-
tion), title "Queen Anne's County, " sub-title "County
Treasurer, " and that thirteen new sections be and they are
hereby enacted in lieu thereof, said new sections to be
known as Sections 197 to 209, inclusive, of said Article and
to read as follows:
197. On the first day of each month the Treasurer shall
make a report to the County Commissioners of the receipts
and disbursements of his office for the preceding month
showing the source of such receipts and the respective ac-
counts for which such disbursements were made and the
amounts of balances on deposit to his credit in Banks and
Trust Companies together with the name of the Bank,
Banks or Trust Company where deposited and on the first
