net contribution for such benefits in a fund separate and
apart from all other benefit and expense funds and the
valuation of all other business of the association; provided
that where a combined contribution table is used by an
association for both death and permanent total disability
benefits, the valuation shall be according to tables of reli-
able experience, and in such case a separation of the funds
shall not be required.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That, if any provi-
sion of this Act, or the application thereof to any person
or circumstances, is held invalid, the remainder of the Act,
and the application of such provision to other persons or
circumstances, shall not be affected thereby.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That all Acts, or
parts of Acts of the General Assembly, heretofore passed,
that may be in conflict or inconsistent with any of the pro-
visions of this Act, be, and the same are hereby, repealed
to the extent of such conflict or inconsistency with the pro-
visions of this Act.

CHAPTER 371.
AN ACT to repeal Sections 269, 270, 271, 272, 273, 274, 275,
276, 277, 278, 279, 280, 281 and 282 of Article 43 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1924 Edition), title
"Health, " sub-title "State Board of Barber Examiners, "
and to enact in lieu thereof thirty new sections, said new
sections to be known as Sections 269 to 282P, inclusive,
of said Article, providing for the regulation of the prac-
tice of barbering in the State of Maryland.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Sections 269, 270, 271, 272, 273, 274, 275,
276, 277, 278, 279, 280, 281 and 282 of Article 43 of the An-
notated Code of Maryland (1924 Edition), title "Health, "
sub-title "State Board of Barber Examiners, " be and they
are hereby repealed, and that thirty new sections be and
they are hereby enacted in lieu thereof, said new sections
to be known as Sections 269 to 282P, inclusive, of said Ar-
ticle, and to read as follows;
