hands of Commissioner of Motor Vehicles realized and col-
lected from fines and costs imposed by the Traffic Court,
and should said funds be insufficient in any one year to
pay said expenses, then the deficit shall be paid out of other
funds in the hands of the Commissioner of Motor Ve-
hicles realized and collected by him from other sources.
Whenever the owner or operator of a motor vehicle is
accused of a violation of any provision of the automobile
laws of the State, or of any local ordinance, rule or regu-
lation of any municipality or county of this State, and a
warrant, summons or notice is served upon him to appear
for trial before the Traffic Court, or any Justice of the
Peace having jurisdiction to hear the case, he shall be noti-
fied in said warrant, summons or notice of the nature and
character of the charge against him, and the day and hour
of such trial shall be fixed at such time, so far as may be
practicable, as shall cause the least inconvenience to such
person and the witnesses in the case.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1935.

CHAPTER 363.
AN ACT to add a new section to Article 8 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Cecil County, " sub-title "County Treasurer, " said new
section to be known as Section 156A and to follow imme-
diately after Section 156 of said Article, providing that
the Treasurer of Cecil County shall not pay any claim
against the County without first deducting from the
amount thereof any taxes due by the holder of said claim.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That a new section be and it is hereby added to
Article 8 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1930 Edition), title "Cecil County, " sub-title "County
Treasurer, " said new section to be known as Section 156A,
to follow immediately after Section 156 of said Article, and
to read as follows:
156A. The Treasurer of Cecil County shall not pay any
claim against said county without first deducting from the
