necessary to be used to move dirt for filling in on any park
site or street improvement.
(e) For other permanent municipal improvements
found by The Commissioners of Cambridge, Maryland, nec-
essary to be made.
SEC. 6. And be it further enacted, That The Commis-
sioners of Cambridge Maryland, are hereby authorized and
empowered to acquire whatever land and property shall be
necessary for making any necessary public improvement,
and The Commissioners of Cambridge, Maryland, are here-
by authorized and empowered, if it shall be found expedient
and best, to exchange land or property owned or to be ac-
quired by The Commissioners of Cambridge, Maryland, for
land or other property necessary to be obtained, and owned
by another or others, and any lands or property heretofore
acquired for municipal purposes by The Commissioners of
Cambridge, Maryland, the Act or Acts of The Commis-
sioners of Cambridge, Maryland, in acquiring such land or
property is hereby ratified and confirmed.
SEC. 7. And be it further enacted, That this Act is here-
by declared to be an emergency law and necessary for the
immediate preservation of public health and safety, and
having been passed upon a yea and nay vote, supported by
three-fifths of all the members elected to each of the two
Houses of the General Assembly, the same shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 354.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section
189 of Article 56 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1924 Supplement), title "Licenses, " sub-title "Motor
Vehicles, " sub-heading "Suspension or Revocation of
Operator's License, Markers and Registration Certifi-
cates, " providing that there shall be no suspension or
revocation until final determination of criminal proceed-
ings has been made.
