4. The Treasurer of Prince George's County Volun-
teer Fire Association shall give bond to the County Com-
missioners of Prince George's County in the penal sum of
sixteen thousand five hundred dollars ($16, 500) for the
faithful performance of his duties hereunder.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1935.

CHAPTER 353.
AN ACT to authorize, empower and direct The Commis-
sioners of Cambridge, Maryland, a municipal corpora-
tion in Dorchester County, to borrow money upon the
credit of the said municipal corporation, and issue nego-
tiable interest bearing coupon bonds in a principal
amount not exceeding Forty Thousand Dollars ($40, -
000. 00); and to levy and collect annual taxes upon all the
assessable property of said municipal corporation, to pay
the principal and interest upon said bonds when due;
and to use the proceeds of the sale of said bonds to pay
for certain permanent municipal improvements now, or
hereafter, to be made; and to authorize the acquiring of
the necessary property, real and personal, within or
without the corporate limits of the City of Cambridge,
for the making of the said permanent municipal im-
provements, and ratifying and confirming the acts of
The Commissioners of Cambridge, Maryland, in hereto-
fore acquiring certain real estate within and without the
said corporate limits, for the making of the said improve-
ments.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That The Commissioners of Cambridge, Mary-
land, a municipal corporation, in Dorchester County, be,
and they are hereby, authorized, directed and empowered to
borrow, on the credit of the said municipal corporation, a
sum not exceeding Forty Thousand Dollars ($40, 000. 00),
and to issue its negotiable, interest bearing coupon bonds
therefor, said bonds to be issued in denominations of One
Thousand Dollars ($1, 000. 00) each, to bear interest at such
rate, not exceeding four per cent. (4%), as is determined
by The Commissioners of Cambridge, Maryland, the inter-
