HARRY W. NICE, GOVERNOR. 767

Article 17 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1930 Edition), title "Prince George's County, " said new
section to be known as Section 804A, to be under sub-title
"Movies, " and to follow immediately after Section 804 of
said Article, and to read as follows:

Movies.

804A. The County Commissioners are authorized and
empowered to issue permits to any person, firm, associa-
tion or corporation lawfully licensed to operate motion pic-
ture machines, entitling such licensee to exhibit and show
motion pictures on Sunday outside the limits of incorpo-
rated towns in Prince George's County, provided however
that the County Commissioners shall have full authority
to revoke upon cause shown after hearing any license
herein authorized, and provided further that the said Coun-
ty Commissioners may impose and collect from any ap-
plicant a license fee not to exceed five dollars ($5. 00) per
annum.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1935.

CHAPTER 336.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section
9A of the Charter of the Agricultural and Mechanical
Association of Washington County, as said Section was
enacted by Chapter 173 of the Acts of 1900, authorizing
said association to have harness racing.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 9A of the Charter of the Agricul-
tural and Mechanical Association of Washington County, as
said section was enacted by Chapter 173 of the Acts of 1900,
be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted with amend-
ments to read as follows:

Section 9A. And said Agricultural and Mechanical
Association of Washington County may hold exhibitions
and harness racing without betting privileges on its grounds
as often as it may deem necessary without the payment
of any license, fine, fee, forfeiture or penalty to the State
