of office and a change in the method of appointing mem-
bers, providing penalties for violating the provisions of
this Act, creating a State Aviation fund, condemning
property, repealing inconsistent legislation and adding to
Article 1A of the Annotated Code of Maryland, 1924-1929
Edition, title "Aeronautics, " sub-title "Uniform Air Li-
censing Act, " Sections 15A, 15B, 15C, 15D, 15E, 15F, 15G,
15H, 15-1 and 32-A, expressly repealing Section 23, Sec-
tion 34 and Section 37 of said Article.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That if any provision of this Act is declared
unconstitutional or the application thereof to any person,
firm, corporation or circumstance, is held invalid, the va-
lidity of the remainder of the Act and the application of
such provision to other persons, firms, corporations and
circumstances shall not be affected thereby.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That all acts or parts
of acts which are inconsistent with the provisions of this
Act are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That Section 23,
34 and 37 of Article 1A of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land, 1924-1929 edition, title "Aeronautics" be and they are
hereby repealed.
SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That new Sections
ISA, 15B, 15C, 15D, 15E, 15F, 15G, 15H, 151, and 32-A be
and the same are hereby added to Article 1A of the Anno-
tated Code of Maryland 1924-29 edition, said new Sections
except 32-A to follow Section 15 of said Article and new
Section 32-A to follow Section 32 of said Article, all of
said new Sections to read as follows:
15A. For the purpose of staggering the terms of office
of the members of the State Aviation Commission, the
terms of office of the present members of the Commission
are hereby extended as follows: The term of one member,
to be designated by the Governor, to April 1, 1937; the
term of a second member, to be designated by the Gover-
nor, to April 1, 1938; the term of a third member, to be
designated by the Governor, to April 1, 1939; the term
of a fourth member, to be designated by the Governor,
to April 1, 1940, and the term of the Chairman, to April
1, 1941. All new appointments shall be subject to confir-
mation by a majority vote of the Senate. After April 1,
