ter 713, and 1920, Chapter 487; be and the same is hereby
repealed and re-enacted so as to read as follows:
3. The Chairman of the State Industrial Accident Com-
mission of Maryland shall receive a salary of Five Thou-
sand and Five Hundred Dollars ($5, 500) per annum and
each of the other members shall receive a salary of Five
Thousand Dollars ($5, 000) per annum.
In addition to the salary provided in this Section each
Commissioner shall be allowed his actual and necessary
traveling and incidental expenses.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That the salaries of
the two additional Commissioners to be appointed by the
Governor pursuant to the Acts of the General Assembly of
Maryland, 1935, and the salaries of the Commissioners now
in office, shall during the remainder of the fiscal year end-
ing September 30, 1935 be provided out of the appropriation
made for the State Industrial Accident Commission by
Chapter 597 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Mary-
land 1933 by the submission to the Governor of an amended
schedule as provided in Section 7 of said Chapter.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That all Acts or
parts of Acts inconsistent with the provisions of this Act
be and the same are hereby repealed to the extent of such
inconsistency.
SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That this Act is
hereby declared to be an emergency law and necessary for
the immediate preservation of the public health and safety
and being passed upon a yea and nay vote, supported by
three-fifths of all the members elected to each of the two
Houses of the General Assembly, the same shall take effect
from the date of its passage.
