SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That the words
"Mayor and Aldermen of the City of Annapolis, " as used
herein, are intended to describe and designate the municipal
corporation of the City of Annapolis whether the same be
styled "Mayor and Aldermen of the City of Annapolis, " or
"Mayor, Counselor and Aldermen of the City of Annap-
olis; " and this Act shall not be declared invalid merely be-
cause the said municipal corporation of the City of Annap-
olis has been styled the "Mayor and Aldermen of the City
of Annapolis, " instead of "Mayor, Counselor and Aldermen
of the City of Annapolis. "

SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1935.

CHAPTER 38. '

AN ACT to repeal Sections 21A, 21B, 21C and 21D of Ar-
ticle 2 of the Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edi-
tion), title "Anne Arundel County, " sub-title "Anna-
polis, " as the same were enacted by Chapter 155 of the
Acts of 1931 (Sections 21A and 21D having been amended
by Chapter 345 of the Acts of 1933), and to repeal and
re-enact with amendments Sections 19 and 20 of said Ar-
ticle as said Sections were amended by Chapter 155 of
the Acts of 1931, and to add a new section to said Ar-
ticle, said new section to be known as Section 21 and to
follow immediately after Section 20 of said Article,
abolishing the office of Police Commissioner and pro-
viding for the making of appointments in the Police De-
partment and the paid section of the Fire Department
of Annapolis and providing for the creation of a pension
fund for the said members of said Departments.

CHAPTER 39.

AN ACT to authorize the Mayor and Council of Crisfield to
borrow on the faith and credit of the City of Crisfield
Thirty-eight Thousand Dollars ($38, 000. 00) and to issue
