Chapter 2 of the Acts of the Extraordinary Session of
1933, making it unlawful to sell alcoholic beverages in
Talbot County on Sunday.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 31 of Article 2B of the Annotated
Code of Maryland, title "Alcoholic Beverages, " as said
section was enacted by Chapter 2 of the Acts of the
Extraordinary Session of 1933, be and it is hereby repealed
and re-enacted with amendments to read as follows:
31. General Regulations, hotels, restaurants and clubs
—restrictions after midnight and on Sunday. No retail
dealer shall be permitted to sell any alcoholic beverages at
a bar or counter at any time between the hours of midnight
and 6 A. M. or at any bar or counter on Sunday and in
Washington County no alcoholic beverages shall at any
time be sold at a bar for consumption on the premises.
In Talbot County, it shall be unlawful for anyone to sell
any alcoholic beverages on Sunday. Any person selling
such beverages in Talbot County on Sunday shall be guilty
of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be
fined not exceeding fifty ($50. 00) dollars for the first
offense and for each succeeding offense shall be fined not
exceeding one hundred ($100. 00) dollars, or imprisoned in
the County Jail for not more than thirty (30) days, or be
both fined and imprisoned, in the discretion of the Court.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1935.

CHAPTER 36.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section
1 of Article 2 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land (1930 Edition), title "Anne Arundel County, " sub-
title "Annapolis, " and to add a new Section to said Ar-
ticle to be known as Section 1A, to follow immediately
after Section 1 of said Article, providing for the redefini-
tion of the boundaries of and changing the name and
style of the Corporation of the City of Annapolis, abolish-
