CHAPTER 246.

AN ACT authorizing the County Commissioners of Cecil
County to levy a sum, not exceeding Five Thousand Dol-
lars ($5, 000), for the purchase of a site for the erection
of a new Court House.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the County Commissioner of Cecil County
be and they are hereby authorized to levy a sum, not ex-
ceeding Five Thousand Dollars ($5, 000), for the purchase
of a site for the erection of a new Court House, when it
shall become necessary to erect a new Court House.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1935.

Approved May 17, 193'5.

CHAPTER 247.

AN ACT to add a new section to Article 21 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Talbot County, " sub-title "St. Michaels, " said new sec-
tion to be known as Section 452A and to follow immedi-
ately after Section 452 of said Article, providing for
biennial audit of the receipts and disbursements, of the
town of St. Michaels.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That a new section be and it is hereby added to
Article 21 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1930 Edition), title "Talbot County, " sub-title "St. Mi-
chaels, " said new section to be known as Section 452A, to
follow immediately after Section 452 of said Article, and to
read as follows:

452A. The Commissioners of St. Michaels are hereby
authorized and directed to have an audit made of the books,
accounts, receipts and disbursements of all moneys received
and expended by them, and to levy a sufficient sum to pay
for said audit. Provided, however, that the said audit shall
be made every two years beginning with May 1, 1937.
