tion to be known as Section 304A, to follow immediately
after Section 304 of said Article, and to read as follows:
304A. It shall be the duty of the said Board of Under-
takers and they are hereby empowered to make such rules
and regulations for the enforcement of the provisions of
this sub-title and for the performance of their duties here-
under, from time to time, as in their judgment they may
deem necessary and requisite; and they are hereby author-
ized to investigate any alleged violations of the provi-
sions of this sub-title, to swear out warrants against any
alleged violators of the provisions of this sub-title, to aid
in the prosecution of any alleged violations of any of the
provisions of this sub-title, and in general to enforce,
and make effective the provisions of this sub-title. Any
and all expenses, costs and fees incurred by said Board
of Undertakers in enforcing the provisions of this sub-
title shall be paid out of the receipts as hereinabove pro-
vided for.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect on June 1, 1935.

CHAPTER 227.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sec-
tion 193 (3) (a) of Article 56 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland, Supplement 1929, title "Licenses, " sub-title
"Motor Vehicles, " to provide additional lights for motor
trucks, trailers and commercial vehicles having a width
of ninety inches or over, including the load.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 193 (3) (a) of Article 56 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland, Supplement 1929, title
"Licenses, " sub-title "Motor Vehicles, " be, and the same
is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments so
as to read as follows:
(a) Motor vehicles, other than the specific classes here-
inafter enumerated, shall be provided with two white or
tinted lights, other than red, of approximately equal and
of not less than ten candlepower mounted on opposite sides
