CHAPTER 220.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
15 of Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland,
title "Alcoholic Beverages, " sub-title "License Fees—
Refunds, " as enacted by Chapter 2 of the Acts of the
Extraordinary Session of 1933, relating to certain
refunds of license fees in Worcester County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 15 of Article 2B of the Annotated
Code of Maryland, title "Alcoholic Beverages, " sub-title
"License Fees—Refunds, " as enacted by Chapter 2 of the
Acts of the Extraordinary Session of 1933, be and the same
is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to
read as follows:

15. License Fees—Refunds. When any licensee shall
cease to carry on the business for which a license has been
obtained, and shall surrender such license to the official
issuing the same, for cancellation, and shall make affidavit
that he has fully complied with all provisions of law and
all regulations during the time that such license has been
in effect, and that no indictment or complaint is pending
against him in any court of this State, or before any Board
of License Commissioners or the Bureau of Licenses, he
shall be entitled to a refund of the unearned portion of the
fee paid for such license, if provision therefor is made in
Section 14 of this Act and such refund shall be payable
from the funds and in the manner therein provided.
Provided that no holder of any class of license for the sale
of beer in Ocean City in Worcester County, shall be entitled
to a refund of the unearned portion of the fee paid for such
license.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That all laws or parts
of laws inconsistent with the provisions of this Act, be and
they are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1935.
