or may have hereafter, under the laws of the State, as well
as to enforce the Health Ordinances of the Town.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act is
hereby declared to be an emergency law and necessary for
the immediate preservation of the public health and safety,
and being passed by a yea and nay vote, supported by
three-fifths of all the members elected to each of the two
Houses of the General Assembly, the same shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 193.
AN ACT to provide for a general registration of voters in
the town of Laurel in the year 1936 and to change the
general registration of 1938 in said town into a supple-
mental registration.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That there shall be a general registration of
all the voters of the town of Laurel, Maryland, in the
year 1936 under the provisions of Article 17 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland, Section 615, as the
same was repealed and re-enacted by Chapter 431 of the
Acts of 1933, said general registration to be conducted in
all respects as provided therein.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That the supple-
mental registration provided in Section 615 of Article 17 of
the Code of Public Local Laws for the year 1936 shall be
postponed until the year 1938, but otherwise shall be held
in all respects as therein provided, and no general regis-
tration shall be held in the year 1938.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1935.
