anting, " sub-title "Mortgages, " providing for recording
and indexing of short assignments of mortgages.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 35 of Article 21 of the Annotated
Code of the Public General Laws of Maryland, Edition of
1924, title "Conveyancing, " sub-title "Mortgages, " be and
and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted with
amendments to read as follows:

35. An assignment of a mortgage may be made in the
following form or to the like effect:

"I hereby assign the within mortgage to the assignee.
"Witness my hand and seal this.................. day of.... !....................

(SEAL). "

And such assignment shall be recorded on the record in
the office of the clerk of the court where the original mort-
gage is recorded, and at or near the foot of the said mort-
gage, in a blank to be left by the clerk who shall record
such mortgage, and vthe names of the assignor or as-
signors and of the assignee or assignees shall be indexed
in the general alphabetical index provided for in Sections
61 and 62 of Article 17 of the Annotated Code of the Public
General Laws of Maryland, Edition of 1924.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect on June 1, 1935.

CHAPTER 165.

AN ACT to add five new sections to Article 43 of Bagby's
Annotated Code of the Public General Laws of Maryland,
Edition of 1924, title "Health, " sub-title "Commissioners
of Pharmacy, " to follow immediately after Section 229
and to be known as Sections 229 (a), 229 (b), 229 (c),
229 (d) and 229 (e), respectively, providing that the
United States Pharmacopoeia and the National Formu-
lary shall be on file at all times in every pharmacy; re-
quiring every registered pharmacy to have a minimum
equipment of utensils and to be maintained in a clean and
orderly manner with proper sanitary appliances; provid-
ing for the preservation and inspection of prescription
records; and authorizing the inspection of medicines,
