the said note or notes to be signed by the County
Commissioners of Kent County, to bear interest from the
date of its or their issuance at a rate not exceeding six per
centum per annum and of the amount or amounts which
may be so borrowed, the County Commissioners of Kent
County are hereby authorized to apply a sum not exceeding
Thirty Thousand Dollars ($30, 000. 00) in each of the years
1935 and 1936 for the maintenance and current expenses
of the public schools of said County and a sum not exceed-
ing Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20, 000. 00) in each of
the years 1935 and 1936 for other current expenses of said
County.

And the said County Commissioners of Kent County are
hereby authorized and empowered to renew such note or
notes as may be issued in pursuance of the provisions of
this Section; providing, however, that at no time may a
sum in excess of Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50, 000. 00) be
due and owing by the said County Commissioners of Kent
County upon a note or notes which may be issued here-
under, whether said note or notes be original or renewal.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1935.

CHAPTER 137.

AN ACT to add a new section to Article 56 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1929 Supplement), entitled "Li-
censes, " sub-title "Motor Vehicles, " sub-heading "Fees
for Registration of Motor Vehicles, " said new section to
be known as Section 184A, to follow immediately after
Section 184, the same authorizing and directing the Com-
missioner of Motor Vehicles to refuse any marker, cer-
tificate of registration or title for any motor vehicle
owned in the Town of Brunswick, in Frederick County,
unless municipal taxes in arrears thereon have been paid.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That a new section be, and the same is hereby
added to Article 56 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1929 Supplement), entitled "Licenses, " sub-title "Motor
Vehicles, " sub-heading "Fees for Registration of Motor
Vehicles, " said new section to be known as Section 184A, to
