CHAPTER 133.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section
325 of Article 17 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Prince George's County, "
sub-title "County Commissioners, " sub-heading "Tax
Levy, " as said section was amended by Chapter 33 of the
Acts of 1933, relating to the time for levying taxes and
the fixing of the taxable basis for Prince George's County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 325 of Article 17 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Prince George's County, " sub-title "County Commission-
ers, " sub-heading "Tax Levy, " as said section was amended
by Chapter 33 of the Acts of 1933, be and it is hereby re-
pealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as
follows:

325. The County Commissioners shall lay their annual
levy for State and county taxes on or before the second
Monday in April in each and every calendar year, and for
the purposes of fixing the taxable basis of all property for
said tax levy in Prince George's County, all property ac-
quired since the 31st day of March of the preceding calen-
dar year, and up to and including the 31st day of March
in the year in which such annual levy is made, shall be in-
cluded in the taxable basis for such year.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act is here-
by declared to be an emergency law and necessary for the
immediate preservation of the public health and safety, and
having been passed upon a yea and nay vote, supported by
three-fifths of all of, the members elected to each of the
two Houses of the General Assembly, the same shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Montgomery County, " said new section to be known
