the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted with amend-
ments to read as follows:

174. All motor vehicles owned and used by the State
or any City, Town, Village or County of this State and all
motor vehicles owned by any incorporated volunteer fire
company, incorporated in this State and used f or fire-fight-
ing or ambulance purposes are hereby exempted from the
provisions of this sub-title requiring the payment of regis-
tration fees, but all such vehicles shall display identifica-
tion markers approved by the Commissioner of Motor
Vehicles.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1935.

CHAPTER 94.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section
870 of Article 16 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Montgomery County, "
sub-title "Schools, " as same was amended by Section 1 of
Chapter 491, of the Laws of Maryland of 1931, relating
to the appointment of a Supervisor of School Property.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments, Section
117 of Article 1 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland, title "Allegany County, " sub-title "County
Treasurer and Taxes, " as enacted by Chapter 144 of the
Acts of Assembly of 1933, providing for the compensa-
tion of tax collectors for Allegany County.
